How to make a messenger bag out of plastic bags

July 24, 2009 @ 1:28 pm

Urban Velo posted this great DIY video on how to make a messenger bag out of vinyl posters or plastic bags from grocery stores. I wouldn’t ever trust myself to make a bag for every day use, but I would like to try fusing plastic bags together to form a Tyvek-like material. I could easily use free Tyvek for all sorts of stuff. Maybe I’ll make some durable and water-resistant folders to put into my existing messenger bag. That would be nice.
