Fuji Classic Track bike

The Fuji Classic Track bike looks great and at $550 MSRP, it’s actually not a bad choice considering the price of other track bikes on the market (BikesDirect.com excluded of course). Beautiful!

Writing In The Air by Shinichi Maruyama

October 13, 2009 @ 10:30 pm

Reader Sergio sent in this link today to Shinichi Maruyama, a Japanese artist who writes and paints in the sky by photographing black ink with water. Maruyama’s series, some of which are shown here, is called “Kusho” and it literally could mean any number of things alluding to emptiness, the sky, space and calligraphy or handwriting.

To photograph the images in “Kusho”, Shinichi Maruyama uses advanced photographic strobe technology to capture movement at 7500th to 20,000th of a second. Check out the images below and see more from this amazing photo series at Shinichi Maruyama’s website.

AT&T shows off white BlackBerry Bold on their Facebook page

I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I’m oddly drawn to this white version of the BlackBerry Bold. If I had this, I might not use a silicone case on it like I do with my black one.

2010 Motobecane Team Track

motobecane-team-track-2010

As I mentioned yesterday, BikesDirect has added a number of new bikes to their single-speed and fixed gear section and shown above is the 2010 Motobecane Team Track which is a surprisingly unique frame at a very good deal. You can either buy the entire bike for $800 or just the frame for $350. I love the frame’s shape and angles, but if I ever got this, I’d change up the paint job to a nice royal blue (or metallic blue).
