Most of the bathtubs I see are made of fiberglass or some form of acrylic. They all look pretty normal except for the occasional steel or metal bathtub which only some of my friends have. But nobody I know has wooden bathtub like these shown here from Unique Wood Designs.
The 4 shown here are part of the rectangular wooden bathtub series, but UWD also makes oval-shaped wooden ones as well if you aren’t a fan of the sharp corners.
If you have to ask about the price, you probably can’t afford it. Looks nice though, eh?

I’ve actually never seen this done before but they certainly do look fabulous! I imagine however that these would be worn on somebody who does absolutely no physical work whatsoever for fear of sweat ruining the wood over time. Right? Maybe? I don’t know…
Check out their latest frames below.

Fast Boy Cycles is the company owned by Ezra Caldwell that builds custom bicycles straight out of their home base in New York City. On some of their bikes, Ezra uses beautiful wooden handlebars instead of the traditional steel or aluminum handlebars found on most bicycles nowadays.
The company’s Flickr photostream has a lot more photos of their custom creations if you want to take a closer look. Thanks Brooklyn By Bike!
And while I’m showing their wooden handlebars off, I might as well let you know that they also make wooden fenders too. And boy are they beautiful!

Rainer Spehl has created this beautiful wooden case for MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops. Each wooden case is lined with leather and features a magnetic latch that keeps the elements away from your computer. And amazingly enough, this awesome case isn’t just a prototype. Rainer Spehl is selling these things (at an undisclosed price), so if you want one, you just have to contact him and inquire about a price. [via]
