Living on an eyelid

This short is based on the children’s book written by Brad Bischoff. It follows the story of Pal, a young artist who falls in love with a classmate and dreams of living on her eyelids so she’ll notice him.

Eyelid debuted at the Short Film Corner at the 61st Cannes Film Festival and went on to be the official selection of the Chicago International Film Festival (2008) and the official selection of the Sante Fe Film Festival (2008).

Where The Wild Things Are mask scares little kid

Spike Jonze, the director of the upcoming film Where The Wild Things Are, donned the mask of one of the creatures from the movie and proceeded to scare a little kid with it. Looks like the costumes are quite convincing. [via]
