Acappella version of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You”

This is pretty good! The ending is quite unexpected, but if you know the original song off the CD, you’ll recognize it.

I like that my family has personalized “Yung” red envelopes for Chinese New Year. Is this a common thing with most other families?

Yung family elves

December 25, 2008 @ 1:06 am

Emily cut out all of our faces and put them in this Office Max/JibJab elf holiday video. I think the funniest part is when Norman reels Simon in with the invisible rope…

Anyway, I screencasted the video because I didn’t want to pay $5 to purchase a DVD of it. I’m not cheap. I’m resourceful.

Happy holidays and Merry Christmas from the entire Yung family clan!

The original Evergreen Trading Co. business certificate

original-certificate

My mom found the original 1968 New York State business certificate that certified Evergreen Trading Co. as a business and she asked me to scan it. Knowing the importance of this certificate, I scanned it using the scanners at work and now I can literally see the fibers from the old paper in the hi-res scan. I can blow this up into a big vinyl poster if I wanted because the scan is so super-hi-res.

I’ve included snippets of the document below (but not the whole document, obviously) for you all to see. I love how the paper has turned somewhat dark brown over the years. I wonder why that is.

Anyway, this company would later become Yung Kee Trading and Real Evergreen.
