How cool are these x-ray subway station maps made by Candy Chan? They are sort of an off-shoot of Candy’s initial Subway station layout project which draws in detail the different levels of certain major stations in the MTA NYC transit system.
A geographically-accurate NYC Subway track map
Here’s a giant 48”x72” geographically-accurate NYC Subway track map you can buy for $300. A track map is slightly different than a normal Subway map in that it shows how stations and tracks overlap and join instead of simplifying it all as solid color lines. The map has no sharp angles since all tracks are curved and also includes the non-station portions of tracks in the NYC transit system.
