Oh man! How come I didn't hear about this?! I first saw a clip from Stations of the Elevated back when the Museum of the City of New York had the City As Canvas exhibit. I remember thinking at the time about how amazing it would be to just sit and watch this film but at the time there was no wide release for it (and it certainly wasn't on sale as far as I knew).
Now, it is available for purchase on Amazon either as a physical DVD or on Amazon Video. The 45-minute video from 1981 is completely restored from start to finish, giving viewers an unprecedented audio and visual look at NYC graffiti and Subway culture in the '80s. I can't wait to see this!
