This is an old link, but I'm trying to clear up some tab space on my browser so bear with me for a second. Seen here is an aerial photo of Barcelona, Spain shot by Tim Orr. The image sort of redefines the block structure of that city for me as opposed to what I remember when I was there from street-level view. I liked the way Barcelona's blocks were -- the corners were always massive, allowing unrestricted views of every direction and every crosswalk. It was a cool feeling, something I can't quite explain.
Apparently, this is how their block structure and layout have changed over the years.
