This is the best computer Apple has ever made.
I'll believe this when I see it: Tim Cook says the Apple desktop computer isn't dead -- yet. But his letter to Apple employees which was posted by TechCrunch confirms that Apple at least has some plan for future Mac desktops in store. Unfortunately, Tim Cook only mentions the iMac in his statement which has left many to assume that the Mac Mini and Mac Pro are essentially done.
If that's the case, I guess now is a good time to consider my Mac Pro vintage machinery? I dunno, is it worth more than I bought it for yet?
I just came across this Mac Pro mount system from INOVATIV. The mount is meant to be used along with INOVATIV's digital tech plate system but a part of me can't seem to get past the fact that mounting such a heavy machine only by the lip of the aluminum curve is good for the machine. It's not right? And even if it is, are people really bringing Mac Pro's around like this? I need more photos of this being used in the wild.
This is my all-time favorite Apple how-it's-made video. It's just so interesting to watch and knowing that it's made in the USA is pretty cool. Just a good show of some good 'ol American manufacturing processes at work making a truly fantastic looking end product.
