This is nice.
Look at this awesome MTA bus jacket. It's custom embroidered and insanely detailed. Probably one of the cooler MTA jackets I've seen.
Levi's has announced that this coming fall, the Project Jacquard smart jacket will be released in a limited beta testing phase. The hope is for the jacket, with smart fabric woven into it, to go into full production by Spring 2017.
The jacket allows wearers to control smartphone functions with hand motions. The concept developed in partnership with Google is targeted at cyclists who need to keep their eyes on the road while still answering calls, getting directions, and changing music on their ride.
There's a very random reddit thread right now that talks about the way Martin Sheen puts on a jacket in The West Wing. The unusual way in which Martin Sheen does this is, according to the top comment on the thread, due to a physical condition he has which left one of his arms substantially shorter than the other (Erb's Palsy). Just a bit of trivia to keep in the back pocket for...whenever you want to talk about Martin Sheen.
Also, if you think this is more of a West Wing thing, here's Sheen doing the same jacket flip in Badlands.
