I saw this happen in real time over Twitter a few days ago. So spooky when you don't know what it is.

These videos always look so fake and I think it's because my mind hasn't gotten used to seeing a rocket land back on Earth. But one day, I'm sure this will just be a normal ocurrence.

I saw this video a million times today (and justifiably so since this is huge news), but the embedded version above is the first I've seen it WITH SOUND. Listen to those aftershocks and the audible boom from the initial explosion of Falcon 9. Just incredible. Thankfully, nobody was hurt but SpaceX is definitely on an indefinite hiatus until this whole thing gets figured out and fixed.

Falcon lands on droneship, but the lockout collet doesn't latch on one the four legs, causing it to tip over post landing. Root cause may have been ice buildup due to condensation from heavy fog at liftoff.

This was painful to watch. The video shows SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket making a botched landing at sea, tipping over after touchdown and exploding.
