Oh God, this looks horrible and nothing like the perfect-paced thriller that the first movie was.

How director Denis Villeneuve builds tension in Sicario
Oooh! This is a fantastic video exposé about one of my favorite movies, Sicario! CineFix notes that one of the reasons why Sicario feels so tense is due to the directing of Denis Villeneuve who builds up tension for almost 30 minutes straight and then in an instant relieves it with clean yet deadly violence. CineFix argues that the rest of the movie doesn't really follow through in this same way, but from what I remember, the rest of the movie doesn't falter one bit from the start. Still good all the way through for me!

Sicario is now one of my favorite fillms
If I could make everybody I know watch this, I would. Sicario was such an amazing film with fantastic performances by Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, and Josh Brolin. When this film came out last year, I wanted so badly to see in theaters but didn't get around to it. And now having watched it at home, my only regret is not watching it in theaters twice.
